This HowTo will help you understand how to use different themes for your Drupal Website.

You will go through the basic options of setting your site name and settings and then select a theme for use.

You should always have more then one theme installed on your site for testing reasons.

Garland is the default and if you are working on your own custom theme and having problems you can always switch to a default theme to allow navigation of your site while you continue making changes.
